Making Process of Natural Handmade Soap in Nepal
The first step of making handmade soap is to extract the many Himalayan herbal ingredients found in the Himalayas of Nepal. These same herbs were used in the Ayurvedic healing system. Local women and communities are involved in growing and harvesting the herbs which are found in the east side of Kathmandu, capital of Nepal.
Next material that we need in Himalaya soap bar is a natural essential oil. To name them mustard oil, coconut oil, castor oil, neem oil and seed oil from Churee tree. These oils are grown and found on the west side of Nepal – Rukum, Rolpa, and Jajarkot.
Now, the final part is molding all these natural herbal ingredients, essential oils, and other Himalayan ingredients in an all-vegetable base into finished natural body soap products.
Local women from different parts of Nepal are directly involved in crafting natural herbal soap in Nepal. This finished herbal product meets the international standard test for exporting all over the world.
