This Tibetan Eight Auspicious Musical Cymbal or Tingsha is made up of brass. They are used as a musical instrument, as well as in healing or meditation. Tingshas are two metal cymbals that are joined by a leather strap. It is commonly used by Tibetan practitioners during prayers and rituals.

These two metal cymbals are joined together to create a high pitched, transparent sound. Tingsha cymbals are very large, which helps to create long ringing sounds.
