This eye-catching and detailed Chenrezig Mandala Thangka has four armed Avalokiteshvara in the middle covered with black and gold Mandala on the backdrop.
Two of his four arms are joined in the prayer position (Namaste) holding the wish-fulfilling gem. In his other left hand he holds a lotus flower and in his other right hand, a crystal mala (rosary). He is using a mala to count the repetitions of his mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, hail to the Jewel in the Lotus, which set free all beings from suffering.
Sometimes Chenrezig is visualized with eleven heads and a thousand arms fanned out around him which means to reach out to so many cries of suffering, his arms are shattered into pieces, making them many, to better reach out to those in need.

Description
Chenrezig and Mandala are two separate entities in Tibetan Thangka. Chenrezig is considered the patron of Bodhisattva of Tibet. He is famous in Tibetan Buddhism as the incarnation of the compassion of all the Buddhas, the Bodhisattva of Compassion.
Whereas, Mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in the Indian religions of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism representing the universe.
How do we Pack the Thangka?
We wrap the Thangka in handmade Nepali Lokta paper for protection of painting and later packed inside the non-bendable PVC pipe for shipping.
We also offer Silk Brocade framing for above Thangka. For that, you need to request us and paid separately.
